Hi, my name is Joshua Cook and I graduated in May 2011 with a BBA in Marketing. I am also a student of graphic design, table tennis, and guitar.

I picked up the nickname “b²” at college. I thought it might make a cool branding mark. Only time will tell.

I have always enjoyed the creative side of marketing-that’s the purpose of this site. I want to create something for my clients that is professional and fun – I believe the two can go together. Ultimately, my work should provide value to my clients.

I started in graphic design like I imagine others do. I experimented with Photoshop trying to create a graphic I needed for a school project. I just knew there were better ways to do what I was trying to do. I started studying and following tutorials. I found it fun and challenging. Today I produce my work within Photoshop and Illustrator. With these tools, I can produce creative items that the client deserves. I have a unique style that is my own. For the most part, I am self-taught. I try to deliver fresh ideas and a different perspective. I have my own way of doing things.

In the gallery there are contest-winning logos along with logos produced for some of my clients.

If you are thinking of hiring me to do some work, you probably want to know the following:

• My current rate for most work is $85/hr with a minimum of three hours. Logos (brand identity) start at $800 for the first week (if needed) of work. Additional time is $85/hr.
• Go to the contact page and click the link to email me.
• In the email, tell me what work you need to be done, when you need it, leave you phone number, and anything else you think will be helpful.
• Once we agree on terms, I will begin work and submit up to three rough ideas to you. You will decide on one design. Then I must receive a deposit of 33% for estimated work time via paypal so that I can begin work. This is so I don’t waste my time or yours. It will also ensure that you are eager to continue.
• Once the work is complete, you will send the remaining balance owed via paypal.
• Once payment has been secured, I will send the final piece in the following formats: eps, psd, jpg, and png. If the design work will be printed, I will also send it as a pdf.
